Octopus designed, supplied and installed a floor-to-ceiling cylindrical LED screen at the entrance of the BIO21 Molecular Science and Biotechnology Institute in Melbourne. The curved display presents scientific imagery and video as a continuous digital surface visible from around the foyer.

The installation uses magnetic all-in-one rubber LED modules with integrated power supplies, control cards and power/data connections. A Mac mini and multi-input video processor feed content through custom X/Y mapping so video wraps accurately around the cylindrical canvas.
